Beginning with a steady pace of 10:07 min/mile in the first mile, Ismael demonstrated a remarkable negative split strategy, progressively reducing his mile pace and finishing with a strong 8:36 min/mile on the last segment. His average pace was 9:02 min/mile, reflecting consistent and well-paced effort across the 13.1 miles. Ismaels performance saw significant improvement in placements as well, moving from 2009th overall in the first mile to 1337th overall by the end. Within the male 30-34 division, he climbed from 296th to 208th place, showcasing his steady climb through the ranks. For future races, maintaining focus on his early pace could further enhance his already solid performance. Great job harnessing consistent improvement throughout the race.
