Consistent Steady Pace and Improved PR Faida Ngumbu showcased a consistent performance in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon with an overall time of 1:54:56 and an average pace of 8:46 min/mile. Notably, she maintained an impressive pace near 8:30 min/mile for the first six miles. Her splits ranged from an opening mile at 8:28 to a slightly slower 9:53 in the 12th mile. This shows her capability in sustaining a steady pace through the majority of the race. Compared to the previous year, Faida improved her personal record by reducing her half marathon time by approximately six minutes, down from 2:00:38 in 2024. In terms of placement, she finished 34th in her division (F40-44) out of the 4907 total participants.
