Consistent Pace with Slight Drop in Final Miles Zoe El-Zayaty completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K with a total time of 1:17:15, averaging a pace of 12:27 min/mile. Her performance noted steady pacing, starting with a first-mile split of 11:35 min/mile. El-Zayaty remained consistent through the first three miles, keeping each within a 20-second range of her initial pace. Her ranking in the F20-24 division was commendable with a mid-range placement. From miles four through six, Zoe's pace decreased slightly. The fourth mile showed the start of a trend with a split pace of 13:09 min/mile. Her overall pace subtly increased, seen in the consistent split times which slightly extended towards the race end. Suggesting improvement, a focus on maintaining early mile pace consistency into the later stages could further enhance results.
