Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Joy Zhang participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, maintaining a consistent pace throughout her splits. Starting with a 10:05 min/mile for the first mile, she quickly improved in the second mile clocking in at 9:44 min/mile. Her effort was remarkably steady across the course, with her elapsed pace averaging at 9:42 min/mile over the entire 6.2-mile distance. This consistency in pacing is commendable and suggests strong endurance and training. Zhang began in 476th overall position and managed to climb to 418th by the end.
