Consistent Pace Leads to Steady Progress Benjamin Chaput, representing UTHealth Houston, delivered a consistent performance in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K. His overall time for the 10K was 1:00:12 with an average pace of 9:42 minutes per mile. Benjamin's pace improved throughout the race, with each mile split showing increased speed. He began the race with a 10:05 min/mile pace and progressively reduced to a 9:34 min/mile pace by the final mile. Remarkably, this steady improvement saw him move up in the rankings, finishing in 413th place overall out of 2010 participants. Throughout the race, Benjamin consistently bettered his stamina and speed, reflected in his gender and division placements.
