Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Marissa Lloyd completed the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon with an impressive elapsed time of 1:55:11, maintaining an average pace of 8:47 min/mile. Starting strong, Marissa showed her capacity for speed with dynamic pacing, particularly during the first split, at a pace of 8:31 min/mile, and achieving her fastest mile in the fourth split with 7:48 min/mile. Her pacing stayed consistent through the middle miles, clearly demonstrating her stamina as she minimized variance in split times. Noteworthy, Marissa finished 36th in her division (F25-29), impressively maintaining her position within the top ranks throughout the race in a field of 4,907 participants. Maintaining a relatively steady pace until the finish, her final mile accelerated to an 8:15 min/mile, showcasing strong race-end performance.
