Consistent Start with Room for Development in Middle Splits Angie Beltran from Houston exhibited a strong start at the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, clocking her initial mile at a solid 15:42. Her pace slightly declined over the next few miles, with a notable shift to a 20:39 pace during the third mile. Despite a challenging middle section, Angie managed to pick up her speed in the latter part of the race, closing out with a consistent pace near the end. Overall, Angie covered the 10K distance in 1:50:14, placing 114th in her division. Her performance this year saw some slowing compared to last year's race time of 1:37:42. Focusing on maintaining her initial pace throughout will be key to improving her times in future races.
