Consistent Improvement with a Strong Finish Lidon Lam demonstrated a commendable pacing strategy during the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon. Starting at a solid pace of 11:23 min/mile, Lidon progressively improved his split times, peaking at a 9:50 min/mile pace during the 7th mile. His performance highlighted consistent effort, particularly noticeable between miles 3 to 8, where his pacing consistently improved from an 11:04 to 10:36 min/mile pace. While there was a noticeable slowdown between miles 9 and 11, Lidon managed to push through and finish strong, with his final mile being clocked at a swift 8:58 min/mile pace. Finishing with an overall time of 2:28:49, Lidons pacing adjustments throughout the race demonstrate potential for future endeavors. For the future, maintaining the consistent pace seen early on, even in later miles, will help improve overall time. Excellent work representing Team SpeedFam!
