Strong Start, Consistent Finish Damian started his 10K race with a promising first-mile split of 9:18, which set a solid pace early on and placed him 25th in his division. His pace experienced some fluctuation, notably slowing to a 14:18 lap at mile four, which reflects the widest discrepancy from his initial pace. Despite this fluctuation, he managed to maintain a consistent pace, averaging 11:33 per mile overall for the race. Damian's overall finish time was 1:11:40. He finished 51st in his M40-44 division out of 2010 total participants. His splits indicate a strong start with the first-mile effort, and concluding the final mile at 11:23, suggesting he had energy left to pick up the pace again. Moving forward, fine-tuning the middle section of the race with pacing strategies will help decrease overall time and enhance performance even further. Good work maintaining consistency and finishing strongly.
