Consistent Improvement and Strong Finish Shaghi Adinehzadeh from Katy, TX participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, completing the 13.1-mile race in 2:28:55 with an average pace of 11:22 min/mile. Notably, Shaghi consistently improved her pace after the first mile, starting at 12:02 min/mile and reaching 10:31 min/mile at the 6-mile mark. This progression highlights her ability to pace effectively and maintain stamina throughout the race. In her division (F40-44), Shaghi placed 132nd, demonstrating a commendable performance amid a field of competitors. Her strongest placements were between the 7th and 9th miles where she maintained her pace at an average of 11:15 min/mile, achieving her best placement in the division at 135th during these miles.
