Consistent Pacing with Late Improvement Ashley Sober participated in the 2025 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon, representing the Katy Area Running Club. She maintained a steady pace throughout the race, finishing with an overall time of 2:37:13 and an average pace of 12:00 min/mile. Her performance improved noticeably around mile 5 with a split pace of 11:32 min/mile, the fastest in her race. She commenced the race strong with an initial mile at 11:44 min/mile and maintained close to this distribution with minor variations, such as a 12:29 min/mile pace at mile 8. Ashley managed to slightly progress her position, finishing 3207th overall out of 4907. Within her F30-34 division, she secured 230th place, marking her ability to remain competitive in a large field. Going forward, focusing on split time consistency can enhance her race performance.
