Consistent Performance Elevates Standings Shannon navigated the challenging 13.3-mile course at the Trail Race Antelope Canyon, finishing with an elapsed time of 2:47:32 and maintaining an average pace of 12:35 min/mile. Notably, she secured 1st place in the female 35-39 division, demonstrating a significant improvement from her previous performances, particularly when compared to Day 1's Bryce Canyon race. Her initial pace in the early miles ranged from 8:43 to 9:35 min/mile, indicating a strong start to the race. Throughout the race, Shannon's ability to maintain her position within the top runners was underscored by her consistent placements at checkpoints.
