Outstanding Performance in Division with Significant Pace Improvement Lorna Campbell demonstrated a remarkable improvement in her running performance at the Trail Race Bryce Canyon - Short Course, covering 10.17 miles with an elapsed time of 2:32:32, achieving an impressive pace of 14:59 min/mile. Notably, she placed 1st in her division (F40-44), highlighting considerable progress from her previous races. This is a significant improvement from her previous trail race at Antelope Canyon, where she maintained a pace of 17:22 min/mile for a longer distance of 13.3 miles. From the start, Lorna moved from 6th to securing 1st in her division by Mile 1, maintaining strong performance throughout. Particularly noteworthy was her second mile, where she achieved a split pace of 9:47, showcasing her capability for faster segments. While sustaining excellent division performance, focusing on pace consistency in later miles could further sharpen her race strategy.
