Category podium with steady climbs: 8:49:59 total, fastest lap 40:03 Completed 10 climbs (22.01 miles) in 8:49:59 at 24:04 pace. 3rd in 5-person category (gender and division); 14th of 238 overall, rising from 167th at the start to 14th at the finish. Average climb split 43:23; fastest lap 3 in 40:03, second-fastest lap 9 in 40:41; slowest lap 6 in 46:24. Approximate climbing time 7:13:53 with about 1:36 in gondola/transition. Compared to past results (best 6:47:16, 18:30 pace), this was slower (+2:02:43) with more variability between laps. To sharpen: aim to tighten lap spread toward ~42 to 43 minutes, maintain the late-lap intensity seen on lap 9, and streamline gondola transitions, especially before laps 8 to 10 (10:03 to 10:45) versus earlier around 9:20 to 9:40. These adjustments can better defend podiums and close the gap to prior benchmarks.
