Fourth in Division with 134-Place Climb and a Late Surge Team Alts2 covered 22.01 miles in 9:51:10 (26:51/mile), completing 10 uphill laps to the summit near 10,675 ft. They finished 21st of 238 overall and 4th in the 5 Person Relay division, moving from 155th at the first checkpoint to 21st at the finish. Average uphill lap time: 49:25. Fastest lap was Lap 10 in 36:37 (slowest Lap 7 in 57:01), highlighted by a 0:59 final 0.11 mi to the lap finish (8:56 pace) and a 5:36 top section (16:00 pace). Strong mid-race laps included Lap 5 (43:05) and Lap 8 (45:09). Transition efficiency improved late: 0:32 from gondola exit to Lap 10 start (most were 1–2 minutes). Coaching notes: aim to smooth mid-race variability (especially around Laps 6–7) and keep transitions consistently under a minute to bank additional time.
