Second Overall, Ten Climbs, Late Rebound 22.01 miles in 6:36:05 (17:59 per mile); 2nd overall of 238. Ten 2.2 mile climbs averaged 31:10. Fastest climb 25:44 (Lap 2); slowest 35:36 (Lap 6), a 9:52 spread. Early leader through five laps, slipped to 3rd at Lap 6, then moved back to 2nd by Lap 8 and held. Compared with 2024: 6:12:21 at 16:55 (also 2nd overall, field 163). Year over year delta +23:44 and +1:04 per mile with a larger field. Coaching notes: Opened with two sub 26 climbs; consider starting nearer 27-28 to steady the middle. Aim to cap climbs at 33 minutes from Lap 6 onward; bringing Lap 6-10 closer to 33:00 could save several minutes. Gondola cycles from finish to exit ranged 7:23-8:05; staying near the low end adds free time. Strong closing: final three climbs averaged 33:33. Maintain that late rhythm earlier for an overall gain.
