Podium Relay Finish with Faster Mid-Race Climb Team Peak Performers completed 10 ascents (Half Everest), covering 22.01 miles in 9:54:01 at a 26:59 pace. They finished 3rd in the 2-person relay. Each lap rose from about 9,097 ft to 10,675 ft, for roughly 15,770 ft of total vertical gain. Fastest ascent was Lap 3 in 42:01; opening lap was 42:51; average ascent 49:45; final ascent 58:24. Estimated 1:36:36 spent on descents and transitions. For next time, aim to steady the late climbs and speed up gondola exits to keep the last two ascents under 55:00 while repeating the efficient mid-lap pacing seen on Laps 3 and 5.
