Consistent Splits with a Strong Middle Pace Madelyn showed consistent pacing in the 2025 Deseret News Marathon 10K. Her splits revealed a commendable start with a 7:10 min/mile pace on the first mile. She accelerated to a 6:53 min/mile pace in the second mile, showcasing a strong capability to push. The middle of the race saw a dip in pace at mile three with 8:01 min/mile, but she effectively rebounded with an impressive 6:42 min/mile in mile four, her fastest pace of the race. Overall, Madelyn completed the race with a time of 45:31 and an average pace of 7:20 min/mile. While her finish time was slightly slower than her previous 10K, there was a noteworthy improvement in place during certain splits like mile three.
