Consistent Pace with Noticeable Improvement G Perry demonstrated a remarkable performance improvement at the 2025 Deseret News Marathon 10K. Perry completed the race in 32:07 with an average pace of 5:10 min/mile, finishing 28th out of 1159 participants overall. This marks a significant leap from his previous 10K times of 42:58 in 2023 and 36:47 in 2024. His consistent pacing, especially between miles 2 to 5, where he held steady at a 5:09 pace, contributed greatly to his performance. Notably, Perry's second mile split was his fastest at 5:02 min/mile, showing strong early momentum and setting a solid foundation for the rest of the race. Despite a slight slowdown in the final mile with a 5:17 pace, his overall time places him well within the competitive ranks of his division and gender.
