Consistent Pace with Notable Improvement Michael showed an impressive performance at the 2025 Deseret News Marathon 10K, maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race. Starting with a first mile split of 6:03, he swiftly improved to a 5:45 min/mile pace by the second mile and maintained a strong average pace of 5:42 min/mile until the finish. His ability to sustain a sub-6-minute-mile for the duration is commendable. Throughout the race, Michael made significant progress in his overall and divisional standings. Notably, his improvement was evident between miles four and five, where he moved up in his division from 42nd to 39th place. Finishing with an overall elapsed time of 35:22, Michael secured 44th place in his division (M15-18) among 1159 participants. Continued focus on maintaining the pace from the beginning could provide a competitive edge in future races. Excellent work, Michael, and well done representing Syracuse Boys.
