Consistent Pace and Impressive Effort Daniel maintained a consistently strong pace throughout the 10K event at the 2025 Deseret News Marathon. Starting with a solid first mile split of 6:04, he quickly found his rhythm by the second mile, improving to a split time of 5:52, demonstrating effective energy management. His overall pace of 6:01 min/mile reflects an impressive level of endurance and strategy, particularly given the slight variability in individual mile splits, ranging from 5:52 to 6:05. Notably, Daniel's performance remained steady across the race, as evidenced by his consistent pacing from the third mile to the finish. Ending with an overall time of 37:22, Daniel performed competitively within the Male 15-18 division, placing 60th. Given the large pool of 1159 participants, maintaining such a pace across the board is commendable. Continued focus on sustaining speed through the latter sections of the race would further enhance his performance.
