Consistent Pacing Leads to Substantial Improvement Madalyn Gonda delivered a commendable performance at the 2025 Deseret News Marathon 10K. With a finish time of 46:49 and an overall pace of 7:33 min/mile, she incredibly improved her previous year's time of 57:06. Her efficiency shone as her splits ranged between 7:12 min/mile and 7:46 min/mile. The second mile was the fastest at 7:12, indicating strong pacing strategy. She maintained a steady pace for most of her race, demonstrating good endurance. By analyzing the split times, Madalyn’s race showed consistency, with her pace ranging narrowly, which allowed her to ascend in her age division, finishing 33rd in F15-18.
