Strong Performance with Consistent Speed Bryce Arbuckle, an 18-year-old from Centerville, delivered a robust performance in the 2025 Deseret News Marathon. Maintaining a steady average pace of 6:28 min/mile across the 26.2-mile course, Bryce finished with a total time of 2:49:31. Notably, he achieved first-place finishes in his division, M15-18, at several critical points throughout the race, highlighted with a strong burst at the 12th mile, clocking a split pace of 5:22 min/mile. Bryce showed impressive momentum, especially evident from his strategic recovery after the 7:36 split at mile 7, quickly regaining speed in successive splits. He managed to improve his divisional placement several times, ultimately securing 2nd in his category. Compared to his performance in previous 10K races, Bryce displayed significant improvement, especially in terms of split consistency and division ranking.
