Consistent Progress and Strong Finish Eli Jarvis demonstrated impressive pacing during the 2025 Deseret News Marathon 5K event. Starting off with a strong initial mile at a pace of 5:02 min/mile, Eli quickly found his rhythm. His subsequent mile showed remarkable progress with a split pace of 4:47 min/mile, an improvement of 15 seconds. Maintaining this momentum, his final mile was his fastest, clocking in at 4:39 min/mile, showcasing a consistently strong performance throughout the race. Overall, Eli completed the 5K with an average pace of 4:49 min/mile, covering the 3.1 miles in 14:58. This effort placed him third across all males in a race of 1,225 participants.
