Consistent Performance for Age Group Leader In the 2025 Deseret News Marathon Half Marathon, Collin Foley demonstrated impressive consistency. Starting strong with a 5:22 min/mile pace in the first mile, he maintained a steady rhythm, with notable splits like 4:53 min/mile in mile three and 4:58 min/mile in mile seven. Fascinatingly, Collin managed to recover his pace to under 5 minutes per mile after slower miles, particularly in miles four and eight, where he registered paces of 5:27 and 5:36 min/mile, respectively. Collin completed the race in a total time of 1:09:21, securing first place in his M15-18 division out of 1181 participants. His average pace for the event was a remarkable 5:17 min/mile. Despite a slight dip in pace during the later stages, Collin's overall performance remained strong.
