Strong Half Marathon Debut with Notable Consistency Kaden McGovern maintained an impressive average pace of 5:36 min/mile in his half marathon debut at the 2025 Deseret News Marathon. His total time of 1:13:24 showcased consistent pacing, with his fastest mile split recorded at 4:38 min/mile. Throughout the race, McGovern held strong in his division, securing 2nd place in M15-18 and 15th in the men's overall category. His ability to leverage his sprinting on the second split set a strong foundation for the race. Kaden consistently demonstrated resilience, especially in the early splits, maintaining sub-5 minute mile times through mile three.
