Impressive Early Pace Display Travis Feeny delivered a dynamic performance in the 2025 Deseret News Marathon 10K event. Notably, he maintained a powerful start with a 4:42 min/mile pace in the first mile, immediately placing him second overall. His second mile was even faster, clocking in at 4:29 min/mile, which was his quickest split of the race. This aggressive pace initially kept him in a strong second-place position through the first half of the race. As the race progressed, his pace slightly adjusted, with his final split measured at 5:14 min/mile. Overall, Travis finished with an impressive average pace of 4:52 min/mile. While he finished in 7th place overall, he ranked notably well in his division, placing 3rd among the M25-29 competitors. Focusing on sustainable pace consistency in the latter half of races could enhance performance further. Excellent dedication and a commendable effort in a competitive field of 1159 participants.
