Consistent Pacing with Strong Start Team Blistering Speed maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Deseret News Marathon, clocking a final time of 3:32:15 for the 26.2-mile relay event. The team started with impressive early splits, including a 6:42 min/mile pace for the first mile and a quick 6:27 min/mile for the second mile. These early strong performances contributed to initial high rankings, maintaining first place in the Mixed Gender category through the first part of the race. Midway through the race, the pace settled into the 7:40-7:50 min/mile range, consistent for several miles, reflecting admirable even pacing. The last few miles saw a slight deceleration, concluding with an 8:25 min/mile for the final mile. However, their ability to retain the second position in the Mixed Gender category out of 91 participants in total, demonstrates significant endurance.
