Consistent Strides and Strong Finish Evelyn Cook showcased a remarkable performance at the 2025 Deseret News Marathon, completing the 10K event with a time of 41:00 and maintaining a consistent pace of 6:36 per mile. Evelyn demonstrated impressive pacing and strategic consistency throughout her splits, showing slight but effective variation. Her fastest pace was recorded during the second and fourth mile, both with a pace of 6:30 per mile. This not only propelled her forward but secured her first place in her division, Female 12-14. Throughout the race, Evelyn maintained a steady position, finishing 168th overall out of a total of 1159 participants, and 29th among females. The data shows a noteworthy endurance and consistent pace, ideal for sustained performance. There might be an opportunity to push the pace a little further in the final split to gain an even stronger finish. Her efforts contributed well to the Northridge Girls team.
