Strong Start, Consistent Pacing Zackery Harris demonstrated an impressive start with a swift 6:35-minute mile for his initial split, placing him 143rd overall and 120th among males. His acceleration in the second mile to a 6:18 split pace showed a commendable increase in speed, moving from 120th to 133rd among males, a great effort in a competitive field with 1159 participants. As the race progressed, Zackery maintained a fairly consistent pace, finishing the 10K race with an overall time of 43:58 and an average pace of 7:05 min/mile. While his pace slightly declined in the latter miles, ranging from 7:13 to 7:38, finishing in 174th among males indicates a commendable performance for his division. Focusing on maintaining the early pace throughout could lead to even better results. The participation in "Layton Boys C" suggests potential for future team impact.
