Consistent Mid-Race Acceleration Blake demonstrated impressive pacing during the 2025 Deseret News Marathon. Notably, his mile splits displayed a consistent pattern of accelerating mid-race, with mile 5 being his fastest at a pace of 5:32 min/mile. Blake showed resilience toward the end, maintaining a strong pace of 5:38 min/mile in the thirteenth mile. This consistency helped him complete the half marathon in a competitive time of 1:14:14. Ranked 21st overall and 17th among males in a field of 1,181 participants, Blake finished 6th in his division of males aged 19-24.
