Consistent Victory in Division Nathan Stringham delivered a commendable performance at the 2025 Deseret News Marathon, completing the half marathon in 1:08:50. Maintaining an average pace of 5:15 min/mile, Nathan secured 9th place overall and 1st in the M25-29 division out of 1181 participants. Notably, his splits demonstrated impressive consistency, particularly between miles 6 and 10 where his pace consistently hovered around 5:09-5:14 min/mile. His swiftest split was recorded at mile 7, clocking in at an impressive 4:46 min/mile. In the early stages, Nathan managed to improve his position, securing 10th place overall by mile 3. Despite a slight slowdown in split time at mile 8, he regained momentum, finishing strong with an 8th place finish for his gender. His performance showcased a significant personal achievement as he improved from 4th division place in a previous 10K race in 2023 to 1st place in this half marathon.
