Consistent Pacing with Subtle Variations Parker Olsen, a 16-year-old runner from Kaysville, UT, showcased solid performance at the 2025 Deseret News Marathon 10K. His overall time was 35:13, maintaining a steady overall pace of 5:40 per mile. Each split shows slight variations, with some impressive early pacing, particularly the second mile, which was completed in 5:23. This was his fastest mile segment, highlighting his potential for maintaining speed over distance. As the race progressed, Parker experienced a gradual slowing in pace, particularly from miles four through six, ranging from 5:43 to 5:55 in split pace.
