Impressive Pace Secures Top Division Finish Stephen Stiegel ran the 2025 Deseret News Marathon in 2:50:41, maintaining an average pace of 6:30 min/mile. Remarkably, Stephen was consistent throughout the race, demonstrating a controlled rhythm with minor fluctuations. He edged slightly below his average pace during the fourth and fifth miles, clocking 6:23 min/mile, showing early strength. Notably, Stephen finished strongly, with a 6:15 min/mile pace in both mile 24 and mile 26, contributing to an impressive final stretch. Stephen's excellent pacing led him to secure 14th place overall and 12th in the men's category out of a total of 510 participants.
