Consistent Pace and Steady Finish Stratten Jones maintained an impressively consistent pace throughout the 10K race. Starting with a strong 6:28 min/mile in the first mile, Stratten maintained close to this pace throughout, finishing with a steady overall pace of 6:34 min/mile. Notably, the final stretch was his fastest split time after the opening mile, clocking in at 6:30. The ability to quicken pace in the final mile is commendable and indicates reserve energy and determination. Stratten placed 137th among male participants out of a total of 1,159 runners. Within his division (M15-18), he finished in 74th place. While the rankings show areas that can be improved, his split times suggest a solid pacing strategy that he can build on for future races.
