Consistent Cadence: Steady Performance in 10K Claire Hall, competing in the 2025 Deseret News Marathon 10K event, clocked an overall time of 44:41. Claire maintained a consistent stride with an average pace of 7:12 min/mile. Her splits reveal a strong start with a 7:07 for her first mile, quickening to a 6:39 in the second mile. In the later stages, her pace slightly slowed, ranging from 7:06 to 7:32 in the final miles. Claire’s position fluctuated slightly but maintained stability, moving between 42nd and 56th in her gender category throughout the race. Her final division placement was 24th in the F15-18 category. Claire's performance shows potential, particularly in maintaining her pace over the distance. For future races, there’s an opportunity to focus on endurance to maintain her early faster paces through the latter stages. Overall, Claire delivered a commendable effort for her team, Fremont Girls.
