Consistent Start, Strategic Finish Team Whiting-Turner Contracting competed in the 2025 Deseret News Marathon, showcasing consistency and strategy throughout the race. Starting off strong, the team maintained a steady pace, with the first mile clocking in at 6:49 minutes, maintaining top 10 rankings in their division. By mile 5, they held their division position, displaying impressive split management. Although their pace varied, notably around mile 7 with a split time of 13:42, they strategically picked up speed towards the latter half. Notable was the efficient pace recovery at mile 22, with a split time of 8:26 minutes. The team's finish time was 3:54:10, with an overall pace of 8:56 minutes per mile. They placed 9th in their gender and 10th in the corporate cup division. For further improvement, maintaining a more consistent pace between miles 6 and 11 could reduce time losses. Exceptional effort overall!
