Consistent Pace and Positive Progress in Boulderthon Bryce Weisser showed progressive improvement throughout the race, as evidenced by her splits. Starting with a pace of 13:35 minutes per mile in the first mile, Bryce managed to accelerate significantly, achieving a 10:49-minute pace in the second mile, and further improved to 10:38 minutes per mile in the third mile. This positive trend helped her climb the ranks from 923rd overall in the first mile to 815th by the third. Finishing the 5K race with a total time of 35:50 minutes and an average pace of 11:33 minutes per mile, Bryce successfully placed 791st overall out of 1972 participants. In her division (F20-24), she improved from 64th place initially to 49th at the finish. Continuing to maintain and refine her pacing strategy could further enhance her performance in future races. Participating with her team, Trout Trotters, likely added to her motivation.
