Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Luis Tadeo Alvarez maintained a steady pace during the 2025 Boulderthon 5K. He began with an 8:49 min/mile pace, completing the first mile in 8:49, positioning him 5th in the M15-19 division. His improved second-mile split of 8:08 min/mile shows excellent adaptability. Although his third mile was slower at 9:31 min/mile, he still held onto a solid 6th position in his division. Overall, Luis's total time was 27:19 with an average pace of 8:48 min/mile. Ending 248th out of 1972 participants and 162nd among men indicates competitive performance. Encouragingly, making earlier pace improvements stick throughout the race could potentially elevate standings even more. Maintaining that mid-race acceleration consistently through later miles could enhance overall results. Great effort representing Las Prepotentes!
