Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Melissa Cooney completed the 2025 Boulderthon with a final time of 1:39:12 and an overall pace of 7:34 min/mile. Throughout the race, she demonstrated impressive consistent pacing, maintaining splits around the 7:38 min/mile mark for the first two miles and gradually improving to reach a fast split of 7:12 min/mile by miles 12 and 13. Her strong finish in these final miles helped improve her standing, securing 343rd place overall and 85th among female participants. Melissa's strategic pacing is evident as she maintained a steady effort with minor fluctuations in pace. A noticeable surge occurred between mile 11 and mile 12, improving her position from 360th to 292nd overall.
