Consistent Progression and Strong Finish Christine Thorn ran the 2025 Boulderthon 5K at an average pace of 10:05 min/mile. Her race strategy showed consistent improvement with each mile. Starting with a 10:47 min/mile in the first mile, she improved her pace to 10:30 in the second mile, and finished her strongest at 9:21 min/mile in the third mile. This gradual increase in pace is impressive and sets a positive benchmark for pacing strategy. Christine finished the race in 31:16, placing 501st overall out of 1972 participants. Within her gender category, she improved from 275th at the 1-mile mark to 215th by the finish.
