Consistently Dominant Performance Throughout Ruben Orozco displayed impressive consistency in the 2025 Boulderthon Half Marathon, maintaining a strong overall lead in the gender and division categories. The race began at a brisk 7:23 min/mile pace for the first mile, and while there was a slight increase in times, they hit an 8:12 min/mile split by the fifth and sixth miles. Although there was a noticeable drop in pace at mile 7 to 12:23, Ruben's rapid performance during this early stage established a favorable position. Throughout the latter stages of the race, Ruben adjusted smoothly, tightening split times from a 12:23 back down to 8:03 at mile 12, finishing his last mile with an 8:48 pace. Overall, his average pace settled at 8:27 min/mile, crossing the finish line with a time of 1:50:51.
