Consistent Start with Steady Progression Hugo Delgado showcased a notable performance at the 2025 Boulderthon in the 10K event. Starting off strong with an initial mile pace of 8:16, he demonstrated skillful execution, securing the 225th overall spot initially, and 26th in his division. While his pace decreased slightly over subsequent miles, he maintained a calculated approach as he progressed through to the 4-mile mark. In the latter half of the race, Hugo displayed endurance by stabilizing his pace. His overall time was 1:01:10 with an average pace of 9:51 min/mile, finishing 706th overall out of 2428 participants and 75th in the M25-29 division. An opportunity for Hugo is to perhaps maintain his early race pace for longer stretches. Continued participation and training could support improved pacing and placement in future events.
