Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Michael Morehead, competing in the 2025 Boulderthon 5K, demonstrated a well-executed race strategy with improving split times over the course. Starting off his first mile with a pace of 10:24 min/mile, he then accelerated to a 10:11 min/mile pace by the second mile. Notably, Michael closed the last mile with an impressive 8:55 min/mile, securing him a total elapsed time of 30:19 and an average pace of 9:46 min/mile. His progression through the ranks was steady, advancing from 568th overall at the first mile to 447th by race end. Among male participants, he moved up from 312th to 261st.
