Steady Start, Challenging Finish: Race Insights Emma Sills completed the Boulderthon 10K with an official time of 54:20 and an overall pace of 8:45 min/mile. Starting strong, she managed a swift first-mile split of 7:59. The second and third miles saw her pace slightly decelerating to 8:04 and 8:38 min/mile respectively. During these phases, she maintained top positions within her division, achieving 8th place early in the F35-39 division. In the latter stages, mile splits indicated a progressive slowing, with the final split at 9:32 min/mile. Despite this, Emma demonstrated resilience by improving her overall position from 272 to 223 during the fifth mile. Her final placements were 319th out of 2428 participants, 109th among females, and 13th in her division. To enhance future performances, focusing on sustaining early momentum through the middle sections would be beneficial. Well done!
