Consistent Pacing and Strong Division Finish Ellen maintained consistent pacing throughout the 2025 Boulderthon 5K with progressive adaptability. Starting with a solid pace of 11:16 min/mile in the first mile, she successfully accelerated to 10:53 min/mile in the second mile. Though there was a slight slowdown to 12:39 min/mile in the third mile, Ellen's average pace settled at 11:38 min/mile over the entire course. Finishing the race in 36:03, Ellen secured a noteworthy 3rd place in her F70-74 division, despite a place drop between the second and third miles. Within her gender category, she placed 395th, demonstrating her persistence among 1972 participants. Focusing on managing the pace in the latter part could enhance her results. Great effort, Ellen!
