Consistent Effort Demonstrated at 2025 Boulderthon Baxter maintained a consistent effort throughout the 5K event. Starting with an initial split of 17:23 min/mile, he improved his pace at the second mile to 14:56 min/mile, before slightly dropping to a pace of 17:08 min/mile for the third mile. His overall elapsed pace was 16:20 min/mile. This shows a strong start and ability to adjust mid-race, with room for minor endurance improvements in maintaining momentum in the final stretch. In the male 14 & under category, Baxter placed 47th, out of many competitors, showing determination and competitive spirit. Among all male participants, he finished 574th, and 1404th overall out of 1972 participants. With training focused on maintaining the pace shown in his strongest split, Baxter can aim for marked improvement in future races.
