Steady Improvement and Consistent Pace Taewon Chae participated in the 2025 Boulderthon 5K, representing team thecococherry. His performance showed consistent improvement throughout the race. Starting with a 10:49 min/mile pace, Taewon made significant progress in the second mile, clocking in at an 8:40 min/mile pace. His elapsed time was 30:21 for the 3.1-mile distance with an overall pace of 9:47 min/mile. Among 1972 participants, Taewon's overall place was 453, and he ranked 31st in his division of M35-39. Analyzing his split times, Taewon demonstrated a positive trend, especially in the second mile where he reduced his split pace by 2:09 minutes compared to the first mile. His pacing consistency and ability to accelerate will be beneficial in future races.
