Consistent Improvement in Pace and Performance David Hostetter delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Boulderthon 5K with an elapsed time of 33:31 and an average pace of 10:48 min/mile. His first mile pace was 10:45 min/mile, showing a consistent start. There was a slight dip in the second mile with an improved pace of 10:31 min/mile, before slightly slowing down in the third mile with a pace of 11:04 min/mile. Comparing his performance to the previous Boulderthon, David improved his overall pace from 10:56 min/mile to 10:48 min/mile. Holding the 6th place in the M65-69 division consistently shows remarkable steadiness. While the drop in placement to 639th overall from 482nd might seem like a setback, the increased field size should be noted. Adjusting pacing strategy in the final stretch may enhance future results.
