Strong Start, Consistent Efforts Jeanine Young displayed impressive speed at the 2025 Boulderthon 10K race, starting with an outstanding performance in the early stages. Her initial three miles were completed at a notably consistent pace of 5:12 min/mile, which positioned her at the top across all categories, including overall, gender, and division. This consistency highlights a strong start and demonstrates her capability to maintain an elite running pace initially. As the race progressed, there was a noticeable decrease in pace. The fourth mile showed a significant adjustment to 11:27 min/mile, resulting in a drop in overall placement to 43rd but still leading her age division. Despite finishing 273rd overall and 91st among females, she maintained a commendable fifth place in her division, F45-49. Focusing on sustaining her pace in the later miles could enhance her overall performance and result in more consistent finishing stats. Great effort!
